Grow your own Vanilla Bean Orchid - 100 years for vanilla?

Hi All! I'm so excited to share with you my latest and most prized addition, a Vanilla bean plant. In this video, you'll learn why it took nearly 100 years for vanilla to be produced in Europe, how many types of vanilla bean and if you can grow your own vanilla. It may be a few years before I have my own pod, but I'll be sure to stick around and show you when (or if) it does flower. Till next time. ~The Gardeners Life
