In Episode 4 of the UCC Child Online Protection (COP) Podcast, we explore an African approach to promoting child online safety with David Moepeng, a Cyber Psychologist, Cybersecurity Awareness Specialist and Trainer from Botswana. David is the founder of Cybersmart Botswana, a non-profit organisation that promotes digital literacy and safer online behaviour through public education campaigns, community outreach, school talks, peer education and stakeholder capacity building. He also serves as Lead Coordinator of the African Cybersmart Network, a community of organisations working to promote cybersecurity awareness across the continent. David holds a Master’s degree in Cyber Psychology from Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom and is a globally recognised speaker on cybersecurity awareness.
