Green Hub Fellows: Shubhadip Gupta and Namishka Borah (Batch 2025 - 2026) Organisation: Nature Conservation Foundation and Pakke Tiger Reserve | Green Hub (NEN - DFF Initiative) Set in the forests of the Pakke landscape in Arunachal Pradesh, this film follows a decade-long collaboration between Nature Conservation Foundation and ERA India to restore degraded forests through community-led ecological restoration. From community nurseries and restoration sites to everyday village life, the film explores the patience, care and collective effort behind restoring native forests. It also highlights how these initiatives are creating livelihood opportunities for local youth, including Green Hub alumni, who are now contributing to the ecological future of their own landscapes. Beyond restoring forests, the film reflects on how conservation can strengthen relationships between communities and their environment, creating opportunities for learning, stewardship and belonging. A story of persistence, care and coexistence, the film asks what it truly means to restore a forest and grow alongside it. Green Hub Project is a video fellowship that empowers and engages youth especially from indigenous and marginalized communities and disadvantaged backgrounds in conservation action and social change.
