Sunday Life Experience || Darkness Can Never Overcome Light Scripture Reference: Matthew 5:13–16 NKJV, John 1:1–5 NKJV, 1 John 4:4 NKJV As children of God, we must take a stand and fully believe what Jesus says about us. We should not live in doubt or confusion, but understand who Christ is in us and who we are in Him. When a person receives Jesus Christ, their life is translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light, and they can never remain the same again. God’s life begins to live within them, and that life cannot be overcomed by darkness. Believers are the light of the world because the light of Christ lives in them. A child of God should not continue living between light and darkness or allow fear, negativity, and spiritual weakness to control their life. Jesus already declared that darkness can never overcome light. Complaining and opening doors to fear can give the enemy opportunities to attack one’s peace and spiritual growth. The Bible reminds us that miracles, healing, breakthroughs, and restoration come through the power and light of God.The message further encourages believers to examine their lives and identify anything satan may be using to weaken or discourage them. According to 1 John 4:4, “Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” Christians should therefore not allow the enemy to steal their identity in Christ because God’s power within them is greater than any darkness in the world. God has already blessed His children, and when they overcome fear and close every door the enemy uses to enter their lives, they will begin to experience growth, peace, breakthrough, and a deeper relationship with God.
