Mobile Payment: China leads the way

Cash is said to be disappearing in China as mobile payments are taking over. Every aspect of Chinese life can now be managed via your smart phones, paying bills, accessing public transport services or visiting the cinema, and much more. In addition, mobile payment has brought a new lease of life to a particular segment of society; the visually impaired. Yet, a question mark lingers over the security of accounts and personal information. Rediscovering China is a weekly show on CGTN that offers a unique insight into an aspect of life in China today. With its unrivaled access to the country's people and places, Rediscovering China brings you in-depth reports on the major issues facing China at a time of rapid change.
