As soon as the days start to feel longer, I get an itch to change things up! The mindset I have around my work, my schedule and little fun projects becomes more important and necessary for me to tune into. I remind myself the value of infusing bits of pleasure and creativity into my day and longer painting process. Sometimes it's not extreme productivity or speed that we need to push things along, but the ability to step back and shift our attention, gathering energy from other ideas and moments. I hope you enjoy this look into my studio life and how i'm preparing for my next painting. I post similar studio vlogs every other week to keep an up to date series on my art practice and wandering thoughts along the way.
