40/20 Vertical Antenna (portable)

In this video we have a basic design for a dual-band 40/20m Vertical Ground Plane Antenna. I put this antenna together for portable /QRP use for SOTA/POTA etc. But you can use the idea and make a QRO antenna if you want. Just locate a larger Type 2 core such as the T157-2. And use calculator below. For QRO I would also use fatter magnet wire, like 18AWG. You will still need about 13uH total inductance from whatever core & wire you choose.
