Emergency Preparedness and Community Resilience Month | September 1, 2026

The Pierce County Council and Executive proclaim September 2026 as "Pierce County Emergency Preparedness and Community Resilience Month." The Pierce County Department of Emergency Management is ready to provide support, activate and manage the Tacoma/Pierce County Emergency Operations Center, coordinate multi-agency responses to emergency incidents, provide alerts, warnings, and emergency public information, and support recovery efforts.
