For eighteen years he spoke for ZAPU from exile. He lived to see Zimbabwe born, and served it for less than a year.

From a Catholic mission near Plumtree to Fort Hare, the founding of the NDP and ZAPU, eighteen years of exile in Lusaka, the Chikerema split, Geneva and Lancaster House, this is the story of George 'TG' Silundika, ZAPU's information chief and Zimbabwe's first Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, the first cabinet minister to die after independence. The film opens on his own voice, from a filmed interview in 1978. Every claim is sourced and dated; his own claims are labelled as his account.
