Almost Us | Deep House Love Song (Gravity of You, Track 2)

"Almost Us" is a song about the love that slipped away, and the life two people could have had together. Two hands reach for each other in the rain, close enough to touch but never quite meeting, and all that's left is the memory of what might have been. Track 2 from the album "Gravity of You" by Andre van der Merwe. A deep house love song with warm African drums and a lonely trumpet, made for late nights and long thoughts about the one who got away. Lyrics (chorus): We could have been forever We could have been the fire in the rain Two hearts that beat together Now I'm dancing with your ghost again
