TWO BROTHERS IN SCARLET COATS

Welcome to the channel The Old West Theatre. The Canadian frontier, the 1870s. After a crooked poker game ends in gunfire, brothers Dick and Carey Ross flee a posse across the border from Montana into Canada with nowhere to go and nothing to their names. With few other options, they sign up for the newly formed North-West Mounted Police and are posted to the force’s western headquarters on the open prairie. Steady, level-headed Dick takes to the scarlet coat at once — discipline, duty, and keeping the peace suit him. But reckless, charming Carey chafes against every rule, falls back into old habits, and finds his eye drawn to Bridget Fitzgibbon, the spirited daughter of a local trader. Their timing couldn’t be worse. To the south, the Sioux are at war with the American cavalry, and Sitting Bull is riding north with a plan: to win over the Canadian Blackfoot of Chief Crowfoot and sweep the white men from the plains. When a murder is pinned on Eagle Heart, the chief’s own son, the fragile peace between the Mounties and the Blackfoot hangs by a single rope. Dick is determined to uncover the truth before an innocent man hangs and the prairie erupts into war — even if the trail leads somewhere he never wanted to look: straight to his own brother. 🎞️ Chapters / Timecodes: 00:00 – Fleeing Across the Border 12:30 – Joining the Scarlet Coats 25:00 – One Brother True, One Brother Wild 37:30 – Sitting Bull Rides North 50:00 – A Chief’s Son Accused 1:02:30 – Blood, Duty, and the Truth ⚙️ Technical Information: The film has been digitally restored using modern tools to enhance image quality, color, and sound.
