⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ LA Metro D Line Extension: Station Walkthrough on Grand Opening Day

You have seen a ride on the new extension, but have you get an overview of how the three new stations look like? The long-awaited LA Metro D Line Extension Phase 1 has finally opened for revenue service May 8th, 2026! The D Line now provides service to three new stations, Wilshire/La Brea, Wilshire/Fairfax and Wilshire/La Cienega, adding reliable and fast service underneath the Wilshire Blvd corridor. Riders can now enjoy a one-seat ride from Union Station to these new stations, which includes different landmarks and destinations. During Grand Opening Day, tons of vendors and tents are setting up their own booth for riders. At the three new stations, you will find DJs with music, food and merch for everyone to pick up!
