The Melody Finds Itself — Nocturnal Retuning (Microtonal Lavachord Study)

At night, I tuned a few more notes — enough to complete the melody that had been circling in my head. The octaves are uneven, tones rise where they should fall, but the melody still finds itself — somewhere between mind and body, form and instinct. This session continues the Disaffination and Inharmonic studies: a process of letting the instrument guide the ear, not toward correctness, but toward resonance that feels alive. 🎹 Instrument: Retuned/detuned Lavachord 🎧 Focus: Intuitive tuning, melodic emergence, inharmonic resonance 🎙️ Format: Nocturnal improvisation + spontaneous retuning 🌐 More tuning research & music: https://www.noahjordan.ca 🎓 Support this work and access advanced tutorials:   / noahjordan   #lavachord #inharmonic #detuning #microtonal #soundart #justintonation #resonance #improvisation #tuning #ambient #nightmusic #experimental
