(Vinyl + Digital) Emerged from Mexico City in 2013, Electric Mountain teems with the ‘70s haze and the ‘90s desert/stoner hardness. The power trio exults in fuzzy guitars, thunderous drums, and thick dirty bass lines, and seemingly, these aspects thunderingly dominated their 2017’s s/t debut album (originally released on CD by LSDR and later released on LP by Electric Valley Records). Notorious for being a very loud and energetic live act, the power trio has shared the stage with Elder and Blackwater Holylight, amongst several other bands. After a short hiatus, Electric Mountain returns with their second full-length, Valley Giant, with a more mature and intricate sound. On the new album, the Mexican heavy rocking crew sings new stories throughout nine burly structured songs surrounded by doomy and bluesy atmospheres.
