Luke 12:49–59 - The Great division of Christ

In Luke 12:49–59, Jesus speaks with urgency and intensity about the division His message will bring. He reveals that following Him isn’t always comfortable—it can divide households and disrupt the status quo. Jesus calls His listeners to discern the times and settle matters with God before it’s too late. This passage challenges us to examine our hearts, recognize the cost of discipleship, and respond to Christ with urgency and faithfulness.
