Preparation of an FSAE Car for Aerodynamic Simulation Using Ansys Discovery — Lesson 1, Part 3

In this video lesson, we will learn how to prepare the FSAE CAD geometry for meshing. We will learn how to create fluid enclosure around the car and fluid regions around the wheel rims for applying moving reference frame boundary conditions. We will also learn how to apply the Share Topology tool between the fluid regions to ensure conformal mesh generation between them. Additionally, we will also discuss how to give named selections to different car parts and discuss how we can export CAD in different formats for use in the meshing lesson.
