Elle Fanning & Elizabeth Banks Interview Each Other | PEOPLE

Elle Fanning and Elizabeth Banks sit down to interview each other and dive into the world of Effie Trinket, the unforgettable 'Hunger Games' character they now share. Elle reveals how fan casting helped her land the role and thanks the fans whose YouTube compilations helped her practice Effie’s signature voice and mannerisms. Elizabeth reflects on the improvised lines and Alexander McQueen looks that helped define her Effie, while Elle opens up about finding a younger, less polished version of the character — with Elizabeth telling her, “You nailed it.” From Elizabeth’s lessons behind the camera to what still makes Elle nervous on set, the pair swap stories about acting, the enduring quotability of 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin' and their shared admiration for Glenn Close. 'The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping' opens in theaters November 20th.
