The Caledonian Sleeper is the UK's longest train journey. From London, you can wake up in cities, towns and villages in the absolute middle of nowhere. For a lot of people wanting to go to Scotland, The Caledonian Sleeper is often seen as a rite of passage as the ‘unique way to travel’ And I managed to find the opportunity to ride it, embarking on the journey up to Fort William, the longest on the network at 13 hours. But with this came challenges, new experiences and a message of what Scotland does best….
