DON'T DISMISS LEAD! Amazing Historical Finds | Metal Detecting

DON'T DISMISS LEAD! You could be walking away from a little piece of history! When you're out metal detecting, it's easy to get excited about silver coins and shiny treasures. But what about those dull, heavy lumps of lead that so many detectorists overlook? In today's adventure, I'm back out in the fields uncovering more hidden history, including an intriguing old lead token that got me thinking about just how fascinating these often-overlooked finds can be. We're taking a closer look at some incredible examples of historical lead artefacts, from medieval wool weights dating back to the 1400s to whirligigs, a lead cannon and even an eighteenth-century brothel token! Who knew lead could be so interesting? And a special thank you to Gary T for sharing his YouTube Hype Star award, and to the two lovely supporters who generously contributed £10 each towards my original music. Your support really does mean a lot! So grab a brew, settle down and join me for another adventure in the fields. You never know what history might be hiding beneath your feet! *Have you ever found an unusual lead artefact?* Tell me about it in the comments. I'd love to hear what you've discovered!
