I woke up early on our 2nd day to catch the family planting their rice fields. Definitely an eye opening experience. Living in South Korea next to rice fields, they mostly use machinery to plant the seedlings, and some by hand. Here in South Cotabato I was able to witness it first hand of the sabwag, tossing of rice in the fields. Before that, they use the irrigation channel to fill the fields with water and then used the carabaos(water buffalo) to pull a plow to stir the ground for the seeds to rest in. 3.5 - 4 months later they can harvest. After watching that and having breakfast, we all loaded up the vehicles and headed to Lake Sebu for lunch on the lake and to Seven Falls of Lake Sebu. The falls will be the next video. We ate at Punta Isla Lake Resort. We were entertained by the locals with native instruments and dancing. That was really good and the usual recipes everyone already knows with the food spread. After the lake, we were on our way back to the falls to ride the zipline and the van overheated. Turned out to be the radiator was out of fluids. We did make it back to the falls but that will be in the next video. To be continued..... Music provided by epidemic Sound
