Meander Falls is a spectacular 130-metre tiered waterfall located in the Great Western Tiers of Tasmania, Australia.

Location: Meander Conservation Area, about 30 km southwest of Deloraine, Tasmania.
Height: 130 metres dropping over two tiers.
Elevation: Sits over 1,000 metres above sea level, with a 470-metre elevation gain from the car park.
Hike Distance: About 9 to 10 km return (approx. 5 miles).
Duration: 4.5 to 6 hours return.
Trail Grade: Grade 4 (challenging, steep, and rocky; bushwalking experience recommended
Trail ExperienceThe Route: The track follows the path of the Meander River through a mossy, temperate rainforest filled with myrtle beech, sassafras, and ancient pines.Terrain: Expect tree roots, fallen logs, stone steps, and steep, rocky climbs that can get very muddy and slippery.Winter Conditions: Snow and ice can occur in the alpine region during winter, sometimes freezing the massive waterfall into giant icicles.Rules: Dogs are not allowed on the trail.
