✈️ Video 86 ~ The Old Scanner Flies Again! After a long 6-year break from the skies, the old Scanner returned to flight thanks to Ross, who fitted a 4S 5000mAh LiPo battery borrowed from another model. While not the original setup, it worked well enough for a casual flight on the day. This classic model is powered by a Turnigy G46 brushless motor, equivalent to a .46-size nitro engine. In its prime, it ran on a 5S battery pack—back when Ross’s grandson flew it—and had enough thrust to rocket into a vertical climb! Great to see it airborne again with the #RAAFMAC crew.
