“We Just Keep Finding AMAZING Camps! | Shark Bay WA”

Well, another amazing week in the “tough” life of being a travelling_willows! 😂 We reluctantly left behind one of our favorites, Stans Camp, and continued south to Gladstone Bay… and yep, we’d found another absolute cracker! The camp hosts greeted us on arrival, gave us the full rundown, pointed us in the right direction and then slowly disappeared — leaving us to settle in and enjoy this brilliant little spot. With pretty much all the amenities you may… or may not… need, Gladstone Bay ticked plenty of boxes for us. From there we hit Shark Bay Road and headed west, bouncing our way between a few of the permitted 24-hour camps — Goulet Bluff, Whalebone Bay and Fowlers Camp. And honestly, every stop just kept confirming how bloody beautiful this part of Western Australia really is. Turquoise water, rugged coastline, wide-open camps and those sunsets that make you stop whatever you’re doing and just watch. Once again, travelling without rushing and taking each day as it comes delivered some absolute gems. Shark Bay certainly wasn’t disappointing us! And next week? Things get even more interesting… 🦈 Massive schools of sharks cruising right below us 🏘️ A look around Denham 🏕️ Camping at beautiful Big Lagoon 🐬 And finally… Monkey Mia — a place everyone seems to rave about, but one that definitely didn’t quite work for us!
