All Colors Matter Cancer Walk at Beachum Park, Maxton, NC

🎗️ On Saturday, September 19, Maxton showed up. 💜 We held the All Colors Matter Cancer Walk at Beachum Park at 9:00 AM, and it was a beautiful thing to see. Families, friends and neighbors walked together for the people we love, the people we have lost, and the people still fighting. 🌈 Thank you to everyone who came out. 🙏 Thank you to every survivor who walked with us, you are the reason we walk. 💪 Thank you to everyone who walked in memory of a loved one. We carried them with us today. 🕊️ Thank you to Mayor Christopher Bethea-McDougal, and to the commissioners who were in attendance, for showing up and standing with this community. 🤝 And most of all, thank you to the volunteers of the Maxton Recreation Commission. 🌟 You set up, you greeted, you guided, you gave your whole morning, and you made this day happen.
