37 professors appointed on contractual basis for Capt Williamson Sangma State University

Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma on Thursday handed over appointment letters to 37 professors for Captain Williamson Sangma State University. The appointments have been made on a contractual basis for a period of six months. The appointment letters were distributed during a programme held at the Directorate of Educational Research and Training (DERT) in Malki. “For six months on contractual basis, we have appointed 37 professors for the State Williamson Sangma State University and we have handed them the appointment today,” Sangma said following the programme. Elaborating on the selection, he noted that the appointments reflect a balanced mix of experience and youthful talent. “We have got experienced professors as well as the young minds,” he added.
