Hans Klok's Spectacular Illusions and Escapes at the Monte-Carlo Circus Festival

Hans Klok delivered an award-winning performance at the 38th International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo in 2014. Known for his incredible speed and spectacular stage illusions, Klok presented a fast-paced act featuring large-scale magic, dramatic escapes, assistants, special effects, and a new substitution illusion created especially for the festival. His performance impressed the jury and earned him the prestigious Silver Clown — one of the highest honors in the circus world. Klok later described it as one of the most important awards of his career. The performance marked a major milestone for Hans Klok and helped establish illusion and modern stage magic alongside the traditional circus disciplines of Monte-Carlo. #circus #magic #illusion #hansklok #montecarlo ------- Subscribe to wocomoCULTURE: https://goo.gl/VITuUt Follow us on Facebook:   / wocomo   ------- The 38th International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo took place in Monaco from 16 to 26 January 2014, under the famous big top in Fontvieille. The festival was organised and presided over by Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, who also chaired the international jury responsible for selecting the award winners. The 2014 edition came 40 years after Prince Rainier III founded the festival in 1974 and placed particular emphasis on the great circus families and the tradition of passing circus skills from one generation to the next. Artists and troupes from around the world presented a wide range of acts, including acrobatics, illusion, animal acts, balancing and traditional circus disciplines. The festival continued its role as one of the most prestigious competitions in international circus arts, with performers competing for the Clown d’Or, Clown d’Argent and Clown de Bronze awards. The two Clowns d’Or of the 38th edition were awarded to the aerial act Desire of Flight and the Russian Sokolov Troupe. © 2014, Licensed by Telmondis ------- Documentaries about politics, society and science produced by leading studios around the world.
