Is Grasmere Gingerbread really worth the hype? 🤔 Join us for a family day out in the beautiful Lake District as we walk from Rydal to Grasmere, taking in some incredible scenery before visiting the famous Grasmere Gingerbread Shop to find out whether its traditional gingerbread lives up to its reputation! The walk was relatively flat and family-friendly, but at nearly 11km, we were definitely feeling it by the end! We also stopped at Staveley on the journey, found convenient parking in Grasmere and, of course, bought a box of the famous gingerbread to try.
