Welcome aboard the Class 650, Stadler Regio-Shuttle 1 ( RS1 ), a diesel railcar used in Germany for local rail services. Its Deutsche Bahn classification is 650, but the numbering varies between the companies operating it, of which there are several dozen. Today, on this line, it’s operated by the SWEG ( Bwegt ). We start in Strasbourg, part of the Grand Est region ( Alsace, Bas Rhin ), to cross the Rhine river and enter Germany, and go until Appenweier. We call at 1 french station and 4 german stations ( due to camera SD issues, Appenweier - Offenburg part could not be filmed. And for the dirty windshield, there was no choice but to place the camera under the wiper, there was not enough space in the middle of the cab, we still hope you can enjoy and ignore those things.
