Mega Man X (MS-DOS PC) Original Soundtrack - General MIDI

Here is all of the music to one of my favorite games ever, Mega Man X, but this is actually of the PC Version's music. The game itself is an overall solid conversion of the SNES game by Rozner Labs in 1995 with some differences here and there. Now, as for the music, it is composed in MIDI form but is a huge downgrade from the classic SNES originals as this was all a lazy conversion. The pitch, speed, and instrumentation of most of the songs is incorrect, most notably the drums are all Melodic Toms rather than actual MIDI drums. Some of the songs don't sound too bad, but others are just awful. There are also two songs missing as well, the Capcom jingle, and the 2nd Ending theme because this version just has the Epilogue and cuts straight to the Staff Credits, missing the highway scene. These MIDI's are all ripped from the XMI files that came bundled with the game. Either way, I hope you all enjoy. :) Download the MIDI's here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1l6... I am working on a project to revise the original XMI files For a short gameplay of this game I did back in 2011, click here. Might do a full run someday.    • Mega Man X MS-DOS Version Game Play   TRACK SELECTION ------------------------------- 0:00 Intro Stage (Highway) 0:46 Sting Chameleon Stage 1:20 Launch Octopus Stage 2:06 Armored Armadillo Stage 3:04 Flame Mammoth Stage 3:54 Boomer Kuwanger Stage 4:53 Chill Penguin Stage 5:42 Spark Mandrill Stage 6:34 Storm Eagle Stage 7:08 Sigma Stage 1 8:04 Sigma Stage 2 9:07 Sigma Stage 3 9:51 Sigma's Lair 9:55 Maverick Boss Battle 10:25 Title Screen 10:51 Stage Select 11:14 Stage Clear 11:21 Stage Start 11:28 Vile Intro (For whatever reason, this version also plays this before the Maverick Boss Battles too.) 11:37 Vile Battle 12:03 Zero's Theme 1 13:03 Zero's Theme 2 14:00 Dr. Light's Theme 14:14 Get Weapon 15:04 File Select 15:38 Sigma Stage Select 16:11 Sigma Battle 1 16:29 Sigma Battle 2 (Final Battle) 17:19 Epilogue 18:59 Sigma Battle 1 Intro (In the SNES version, this is what plays before the Maverick Boss Battles) 19:07 Sigma Final Battle Intro 19:14 Staff Credits Roll ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Further Contact and other social media if you have any questions, have something to share for the channel, or would just like to talk or something...
