I Asked a STRANGER to Play Vivaldi’s Winter With Me!

While walking through Central Park in New York City, I came across an accordion player near the beautiful Bethesda Fountain. 🗽❤️ He was playing so beautifully that I stopped to listen. Then I thought, why not ask him if we could play something together? So I walked up to him with my violin and asked if he wanted to play Vivaldi's Winter with me. He said yes! 🎻🪗 He accompanied me on the accordion, and what happened next turned into such a special, unforgettable moment. Even though it was a little rainy and chilly, a wonderful crowd gathered around us to enjoy the music. It made me so happy to see people stopping, smiling, and sharing that moment with us. This is one of the things I love most about music. It can bring complete strangers together! ❤️ After our performance, I learned that his name is Nikolai. He is originally from Moldova and has been living in New York for about a year. He is a professional accordionist who performs at concerts, teaches accordion, and sometimes plays on the streets of NYC. It was such a pleasure to meet him and make music together!
