Blue Heron Bridge Dive Jan 6, 2026

A beautiful day early in the new year. 30 feet visibility, 74-75 degrees F water temp. A great place for fish identification - we saw least 20 different fish including burr fish, slippery dick, pork fish, tomtate grunt, blackspot snapper, yellow tail parrot fish, mahogany snapper, sergeant major, blue angelfish, stoplight parrot fish, bandtail puffer, lane snapper, silver porgy, gray triggerfish, yellowfin mojarra, doctorfish, juvenile french angelfish, mangrove snapper, blue parrot fish, fireworm, turtle, and sea starfish. We averaged 10 feet depth reaching 18 feet max. Music is California Dreamin' covered by the electric guitar of Kfir Ochaion, and State Azure's beautiful Science of Being.
