Beneath The Thorns – No Saints in the Mirror (Official Video)

We all have a version of ourselves that we show the world. The one who has it together. The one who knows the right words, makes the right promises, and tries to appear stronger than the battles happening within. But what happens when that reflection begins to crack? “No Saints in the Mirror” is a song about hypocrisy, guilt, brokenness, and the exhausting pursuit of perfection. It’s about confronting the person staring back at you and realizing that no matter how hard you try, you can never earn God’s grace by pretending to be someone you’re not. We preach forgiveness while struggling to forgive. We judge others while hiding our own failures. We wear masks of righteousness while fighting battles nobody else can see. But faith was never about being perfect. It’s about being honest enough to admit that we’re not. This song is a reminder that God’s mercy isn’t reserved for the blameless. It’s for the broken, the struggling, and those willing to lay down their pride and surrender. “There are no saints in the mirror, just a man I barely know.” Sometimes the only way to find who you truly are is to shatter the reflection you’ve spent your entire life trying to protect. And sometimes the greatest act of faith is admitting you need grace. No halos. No disguises. Just sinners in need of grace.
