A uniform black solid-color screen for 12 hours, native 3840 × 2160 resolution. A simple blank canvas for when you want a single color on screen—not a pixel-repair or burn-in-removal treatment.
The uploaded footage holds one unchanging black field from the first frame to the last, at 30 fps. It contains no audio, narration, music, captions, logos, transitions, counters or appended ending. The time bookmarks below all show the SAME color; they are navigation aids, not different tests. YouTube may overlay clickable end-screen recommendations during the final 10 seconds; the underlying footage remains unchanged.
TEST CHAPTERS:
00:00 Black screen — start
4:00:00 Same black screen — 4-hour bookmark
8:00:00 Same black screen — 8-hour bookmark
HOW TO USE:
1. Select 2160p (4K) when available and enter full screen. Let playback controls fade away.
2. For longer playback on a computer, right-click the player and select Loop. On TV/console, use Repeat • Currently playing when available. Interface options vary by device.
3. To keep this one color, loop the individual video rather than the entire three-color playlist. Playback controls, recommendations, buffering or other YouTube UI may interrupt the presentation.
4. Use a comfortable brightness and follow your display manufacturer’s guidance. Avoid prolonged static content on displays susceptible to image retention or burn-in. A black video is not the same as switching off the display.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR:
An uninterrupted black color field in the source footage; no patterns or changing levels.
No promised pixel repair, burn-in removal, or calibrated color accuracy. This is not an instrument-based diagnostic.
Actual displayed color depends on video decoding, output range and display settings. The source is an SDR BT.709 limited-range video, not an HDR or calibrated reference. Loop help: https://support.google.com/youtube/an...
IMPORTANT:
This video is designed for visual inspection and is not a calibrated professional measurement. Use calibrated instruments and a qualified professional workflow when objective measurements are required.
YouTube compression, playback resolution, browser/device processing, GPU output range, scaling, picture settings, panel technology, room lighting, and viewing angle may affect results.
