The Plastic Surgeon Who Made His Enemy's Lawyer Vanish. No Body, Still Guilty | Tomasz Kosowski

Tomasz Kosowski was a Dartmouth-trained plastic surgeon. Steven Cozzi was the attorney representing the other side of Kosowski's civil lawsuit. On March 21, 2023, Steven walked into his law office in Largo, Florida, and never came home. His body has never been found. Building cameras show a box carried in that morning and a wagon pulled out minutes before a hearing Steven never joined. According to testimony, phone records placed a device in the area of a dumpster along the Tamiami Trail. A police car camera records what Kosowski does after he is told detectives want his DNA. And when the case finally goes to trial, Kosowski waives the jury and defends himself, with standby counsel available. No body. No identified murder weapon. No eyewitness to the killing. No confession. On September 23, 2026, Circuit Judge Joseph A. Bulone found Tomasz Kosowski guilty of first-degree murder. As of October 13, 2026, the State is seeking the death penalty. Sentencing is scheduled for November 20, 2026.
