EFF President Julius Malema Addresses the Media at the Results Operations Centre (LGE 2026)

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) President Julius Malema takes the stand to address the media at the National Results Operations Centre (ROC) following the 2026 Local Government Elections. Facing intense scrutiny after the party suffered a notable electoral decline across key metros—dropping behind rivals and slipping from its previous 2021 municipal standing—Malema steps up to reflect on the voters' verdict. While EFF officials have already conceded the dip in support, calling for an urgent internal diagnosis of campaign structures and resources, Malema is addressing the nation on the party's path forward. His briefing unpacks the Red Berets' posture toward impending coalition negotiations in hung councils and outlines how the organization plans to regroup after a bruising municipal poll. #EFFPresser #JuliusMalema #LGE2026 #EFF #SouthAfricaNews #LocalGovernmentElections #ROC #SAVotes2026 #CoalitionPolitics
