Once-Saved, Always-Saved Has a Major Problem. Here's What It Is.

Once-Saved, Always-Saved has a real problem, and it's not about me disagreeing with popular teachers of this doctrine: OSAS disagrees with Jesus Himself. In this final video of a four-part series, I go to a favorite passage for those who believe in OSAS: John 6. We see that the Lord's focus in that Scripture is on those who continue to come to Him and believe. In that passage, He doesn't address the subject of whether believers can turn away, yet later in the chapter, many of His disciples turn away from Him. To answer the question of whether a believer can become an unbeliever, we must go to Scriptures that actually address that issue, like Romans 11:20-23, 2 Peter 2:20-22, and Hebrews 3:12-13, among other passages.
