Had the chance to head to St. George to do a little trial riding in Southern Utah. Started at the Crosby Park near I15 and the Virgin River. Took the Virgin River Trail North. Eventually I decided to take off on a little side route -- Hells Hole trail, and that led to cottonwood wash trail. didn't make it to the end. Was hitting the 8 to 9 mile mark, and the legs were feeling the hill I was going up. so back to Crosby park. Since it was mostly downhill back. Legs were feeling pretty good, so I ventured out on the "Mayor's Loop". Only did part of it (to some homes). there was a trail that went down at 13% grade, but I'm nearly 20 miles into this ride and I know it didn't cross the river back into Crosby park and I would have had to come back up it. Fun little ride, if you get the chance do it. I'd suggest spring or fall. During the summer the temperatures I think would be brutal. Oh one other caution. Avoid when it's raining. Lost track of the number of places along the trail that said "don't enter when flooded". Bike: Aventon Aventure 2 Camera: Go Pro 13 Video editor/music: Corel Video Studio
