What does it take to get the Strongwater herd settled in for the evening? Come along with volunteer Marilyn as she takes us Behind the Scenes for PM chores at Strongwater Farm. From preparing feed and checking on horses to driving through the paddocks and completing the routines that help ensure each member of our herd has what they need for the night, Marilyn gives us an inside look at an important part of daily life at the farm. Of course, chores at Strongwater aren't just about getting the work done. Fellow volunteer Scott is on shift alongside Marilyn, and between caring for the horses, there's plenty of conversation, teamwork, laughter, and good-natured banter along the way. It's an ordinary evening at Strongwater - and that's exactly why we wanted to share it. Every morning and every evening, regardless of the weather, day of the week, or what's happening elsewhere on the farm, our horses depend on a dedicated team of staff and volunteers to provide consistent, thoughtful care.
