RB3: "Hangar 18" Expert Guitar FC (DLC)

You guys know what "Hangar 18" is by now, right? Let's just be glad it's not the GH5 DLC chart. I'm usually game for a goofy interpretation of a classic to make the chart a little more engaging, but that one does just suck. Here in RB, HMX does periodically use their trademark tight spacing and overly precise grid snap during some of the solo sections, but I still think this chart's pretty fun. (The one blue thrown into the ending strumming at 5:04 cracks me up. Definitely one of those where it's like, okay sure, yeah, that's technically correct, but surely he didn't mean to do it that way.) It picks up quite a bit starting around 3:52 and especially at 4:23. The latter bit is honestly a bit hard to read unless you're really locked in. No matter how you slice this one, "Hangar 18" is gonna be a song where you have to pay attention and try reasonably hard to get it just right. I mean, it does have aIl those solos. Bonus points for carrying over the exclamation marks in the practice sections from GH2, by the way. Something about seeing RB3 actually say "Gtr solo 8!!" is endlessly funny. But yeah, overall I think they nailed the happy medium between GH2 jank and GH5 jank here. Or maybe I just like the RB jank best. Uh, it's probably that one, but let's not think too hard.
