Taste of Buddhism - "Combating Coronavirus Fear with Compassion" - Scott Snibbe This program was offered via Facebook livestream on March 22nd from 10:30am-12pm With fear and anxiety mounting over the Coronavirus, we present a discussion and guided meditation counteracting fear with compassion. We’ll share the meditation technique of Taking and Giving (Tonglen) that soothes our own fear and anxiety through imagining how others are suffering just as we are, and sincerely wishing to help, to take away our own and others’ pain. About Scott Snibbe Scott Snibbe is a twenty-year student of Tibetan Buddhism, whose teachers include Geshe Ngawang Dakpa, Ven. Rene Feusi, Choden Rinpoche, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Inspired by his teachers, he leads meditations that infuse the pure lineage of the great Buddhist masters with science, humor, and the realities of the modern world. Scott lives in Berkeley, California with his wife and daughter. Scott is the founder and host of the podcast "A Skeptic's Path to Enlightenment."
