Wally can be the happiest dog in the world one moment, and completely heartbroken the next, just because someone walked out of the room. He’s sad when his toy rolls under the couch. He’s upset when it rains and he can’t go outside. But the hardest thing for him is watching his dad leave, even though he always comes back. And he doesn’t only feel his own emotions. When I get hurt, he’s right there, nuzzling close until he knows I’m okay.
