In this documentary, Surkhāb and Abu Armaghaan come together on a historical study tour to explore a forgotten chapter of Hangu’s history—the story of Bahadar Gari and Nani’s Tomb. On 30 August 2026, our team visited this historic area to investigate its cultural heritage, local traditions, oral history, and the memories preserved by the elders of Hangu. The documentary explores the story of Nani’s Tomb, its connection with the Bangash community, the historical development of Bahadar Gari, traditional wrestling and social life, and the gradual disappearance of historical landmarks from the landscape of Hangu. But this is not simply the story of an old tomb.
