Karrin Allyson: You’ve Got to Be Carefully Taught

Karrin Allyson is known among musicians as a great bandleader and a deeply thoughtful interpreter of the American Songbook. A vocalist and piano player with 15 recordings to her credit as a leader, Allyson’s latest release features a fresh take on the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein. She makes her Greene Space debut performing music from Many A New Day: Karrin Allyson Sings Rodgers & Hammerstein, and a preview of original material written for her next album.
