Colorado 14er: Mount of the Holy Cross (Quick Summit)

Summiting Mount of the Holy Cross — one of Colorado’s iconic 14ers just outside Vail! We made the summit in just under 4 hours, running portions of the route and enjoying incredible views along the way. The trail is straightforward all the way up, with just a light scramble near the summit. The descent brought on-and-off rain, but the views made every mile worth it.
