The Oneness of Creation (Tawhid) The core philosophical pillar behind this design is Tawhid (the divine unity or oneness). Every single complex line, teardrop shape, and intersecting arc in the entire composition is generated from a single, central point using a compass. This symbolizes how the entire multiplicity of the universe originates from, and is bound to, a single divine source. 2. The Microcosm and Macrocosm Because the teardrop/almond motifs (resembling the chili or paisley shapes in Persian art) start incredibly small at the apex and steadily grow larger as they reach the outer edge, they represent the scales of existence. It is a visual metaphor for the ascension of the soul or the unfolding of creation from a singular cosmic seed into a vast, ordered universe. 3. The Divine Light The dome ceiling of the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque is world-renowned because as the sun tracks across the sky, natural light catches these exact geometric tiles to project the image of a golden peacock with a sweeping tail. By utilizing red ink—traditionally made from organic pigments like madder root—the rendering honors the solar and fiery symbolism of the "shamsa" as a source of intellectual and spiritual illumination. 🔔 Like, share, comment, and subscribe for more drawing colouring & tutorials! 🥰 If you enjoy this video and would like to see more step by step tutorials like this one, sponsor this channel at https://buymeacoffee.com/dreamerinthe...
