XCOM 2 — We Rescued Mox Without Firing a Shot! | Veteran Campaign Ep. 5

Pratal Mox is finally coming home! After being captured by the Chosen Assassin, we're launching a daring rescue operation—and somehow pulling it off without firing a single shot! Welcome back to Hardin Strategy and Episode 5 of our XCOM 2: War of the Chosen Veteran Campaign! We begin with Operation Fire Strike, successfully protecting the device and adding Grenadier Erin Martin to our growing resistance. Sophie Johnson suffers an injury, but our campaign's zero-fatalities streak remains intact. We also strengthen our squad with new soldier bonds, including Johnson and Petit, and Cissoko and Porter. Plus, Sophie and Helen Johnson become sisters in our campaign's story—two British Specialists training as medics. But the biggest moment comes when Cissoko, Porter and Solovyov locate Pratal Mox, opening the door to Operation Purple Tears. Our rescue team infiltrates the facility, avoids enemy patrols, and uses two grenades to breach the wall without alerting ADVENT. We successfully extract Mox without engaging in combat! Back aboard the Avenger, research breakthroughs continue, construction of a power relay begins, and we work toward establishing contact with the Western United States. Before we can finish, a supply raid appears in Mexico: Operation Iron Slap. *In this episode:* Operation Fire Strike — Protect the Device Grenadier Erin Martin joins XCOM Sophie Johnson suffers an injury New soldier bonds and the Johnson sisters Operation Purple Tears — Rescue Pratal Mox A stealthy rescue without combat Research breakthroughs and Avenger improvements Operation Iron Slap sets up Episode 6 Can our resistance keep building momentum without losing a soldier?
