My first destination: Wadi Rum — one of the most beautiful desert landscapes in the world. But things didn’t go as planned. As I left the main road and began riding into the sand dunes, a pickup truck approached and informed me that motorcycles are banned in Wadi Rum due to it being a government-protected area. To continue exploring, I had to load my bike into a pickup truck and switch to four wheels. From there, I visited: The famous Lawrence Spring Some of the largest dunes in Wadi Rum Captured stunning drone footage of the entire desert landscape But the day took a heavy turn… That night, while camping in the desert, I woke up to the sound of gunfire and bombing. It was the ongoing conflict in Gaza, and the sound had traveled all the way to Jordan’s still desert air.
