So naturally, we decided to find out what happens when different vehicles try it anyway. 😄 Welcome to another Cars vs Stairs challenge from WreckX, created entirely inside BeamNG.drive. This time, we're bringing a variety of vehicles to a massive staircase and putting them through the same difficult challenge. The objective sounds simple: make it through the stairs without completely losing control. But once the vehicles start hitting the steps, things become much less predictable. Every step creates another impact. The suspension has to constantly react, the wheels move independently, the body starts bouncing around, and the vehicle's weight shifts with every section of the staircase. Some vehicles manage to keep moving surprisingly well. Others start struggling almost immediately. And then there are those moments where one bad impact is enough to completely change the run. The *Big Red Bus* is definitely one of the highlights of this video. Its size, weight, and long body make the staircase a completely different challenge compared with smaller vehicles. Watching such a large vehicle deal with the repeated impacts makes this run particularly satisfying. 🚗 *THE CHALLENGE* Different vehicles. One massive staircase. No easy way through. The vehicles have to deal with repeated impacts, suspension compression, wheel movement, weight transfer, bouncing, and unexpected changes in direction. A vehicle that looks perfectly capable on normal roads can behave very differently once every few metres becomes another hard impact. That's what makes this type of BeamNG.drive experiment so interesting. Vehicle weight matters. Suspension setup matters. Wheelbase matters. Tire size matters. Even the way a vehicle approaches each section can completely change the result. A heavy vehicle might have enough momentum to continue through difficult sections, but that extra weight can also make every impact much harder. Smaller vehicles may be easier to control, but they can get thrown around much more easily. And once a vehicle starts losing its balance, the staircase doesn't give it much room to recover.
