Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, later lead guitarist for Guns N' Roses, was hired by SEGA of America in late 1994 to compose the soundtrack for their final Sega CD game, Wild Woody, in 28 days; a gargantuan task he succeeded in doing.
The original mixes have some volume discrepancies, EQ imbalance and almost mono panning, leading to brickwalling and possible ear fatigue, a result of the music being rushed into production to a near-impossible deadline.
This fan remaster uses the original tracks from a pristine copy of the game and rebalances, re-EQs and at times reconstructs the tracks from the ground up in honour of arguably the worst game on the system turning 31.
Obviously I don't own the soundtrack, all rights go to Bumblefoot and whoever actually owns the IP rights these days, there's no real consensus as far as I know.
