WWI Vs WWII German Soldier - Uniform and Equipment Comparison

A collaboration video with my good friend Karl Steinhauser where we discuss and compare the differences between the German soldier of World War I and World War II. We detail variations in the kit and equipment used by each soldier, as well as some of the underlying cultural and political differences as well. (correction for 13:30. The SS was founded by Julius Schreck, not Himmler) 0:00 Intro 0:34 Uniform Differences 20:25 WWI Equipment 39:17 WWII Equipment 50:58 Outro Disclaimer - This video is strictly apolitical. #history #livinghistory #reenactment #reenacting #worldwar2 #ww2 #worldwar1 #ww1
